Guest ariceffron Posted March 26, 2004 Report Share Posted March 26, 2004 (edited) you guys wouldnt believe who lectured at my school last night: ron himself. he actually gave a really good talk about all the court cases hes been involved with over the years. it was pretty interesting. afterwards he took questions and i asked him if he ever worked w/ annette haven and she said she slipped by him but they were friends though, and he also said how she was one of the 1st actresses to use 'fluff girls'. which didnt pick up again until he mid 80s when gangbang movies started getting popular. can you believe this was at my school. it was SO funny. the concert hall was sold out he also said annnette now works w/ computer software and stuff! I am NOT kidding about this! He lives in the same building I do here in Los Angeles. Funny story about the first time I met him... I had just moved into my place, and was just relaxing in the (huge) hot tub this place has when Ron and his girlfriend dropped by for a soak. Imagine my surprise when I look up and see "the Hedgehog" climbing into the hot tub! I was half expecting the porn music to start up in the background somewhere (a-chick-a-wa-wa)! He's actually a decent guy, and there's no wild-n-crazy porn going on 24 hours a day in the building like most people think there would be....... though I keep waiting for it! Alexander Posted March 27, 2004 Report Share Posted March 27, 2004 Has anyone here seen the excellent documentary on Ron? I caught it on Showtime last month, and I thought it was a scream. Ron seems like a very nice man (interesting to note that he started in education), but very lonely. In the film he talks about how he's only ever been in three or four serious relationships (out of the hundreds of women he's fucked, both on and off camera), and most of those were before he got into porn. He talks wistfully about marrying someday and having a child... Porn people seem to be...well...emotionally and psychologically damaged in some way or another.
