  1. Question to all: what to do if you don't like or even hate "the album of the week", 1. keep one's mouth shut and refrain from posting; or 2. simply post "yuck"; or 3. politely but firmly say "this is not quite my cup of tea" (posh accent not required ).
  2. At least those I've bought two times!
  3. I take it you're keeping your Duke Pearson albums...
  4. I've got that one. Haven't listened to it in a long time. In fact, I even forgot that I had it. Thanks for reminding me! It's a really nice date with Clifford, Hank Jones, Reggie Workman and Freddie Waits. Side 1 is a single tune, "Vienna" and Side 2 is "Bohemia After Dark" and "Love For Sale". There's even a double-sided insert with notes and photos about the recording technology that went into this direct-to-disk session. The only info that's nowhere to be found is the recording date ... weird. According to the AMG it was recorded in the summer of 1978: http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&u...l=Azad6vwvta9lk
  5. €1 = $1.09 at the moment.
  6. Welcome, Menace! By the way, your first picture got lost somewhere, at least on my PC.

  9. Try some of Van Dyke Parks' later albums, they're a tad less weird.
  10. I was when it first came out in 1967. Sold it and never looked back (maybe I should)
  11. From Denmark, that is...
  12. Having a puff?
  13. Let's hope it'll self-destruct before it reaches that point...
  14. Did you happen to see BNBB characters marvin and PD somewhere during your trek?
  15. Lots of unissued Kenny G material, of course.
  16. Rumor has it that it'll be a 2CD-set, with lots of unissued material, including a live set (at Antibes, France, I think it was)
  17. Willkommen Herr Doktor! Gut Sie wieder zu sehen!
  18. I'm not so sure about that - did you see the competition? Miles & Norah, Kind of Norah... http://www.organissimo.org/forum/index.php...st=0entry6190, first post

  20. Poor dog... They had to put it down...
  21. Over here it's almost April 2, only a few minutes to go... Can't wait...
  22. Wonder what happened to all those "old" members; haven't seen them around for years - at least it seems that long to me.
  23. Ha, I feel a BNBB-style Freshman / Freshmen spelling fight coming on Those were the days...
  24. Judging by this review we have a winner : Four Freshmen AMG review
  25. Hey guys, Why don't you restrict the fighting to the political arena?
