I've always thought Haig would make a worthy Mosaic project--especially his later stuff, but some of the earlier material too. I suggested it once. Not that they get many suggestions.... Suggested a Mosaic Select of his 50's material (Esoteric, Period, PJ etc) a couple of years back - If I can recall, Mike C cited licencing issues as a problem. The Andorrans (Fresh Sound etc) have made a partial attempt at this but it's never the same as a Mosaic job. Stephen/Romualdo

I found a copy of this 78 from a Canadian seller on Ebay a few years back. There are two other 78 releases, one using the Pacifica label and one released using a Drum City label. Many of the alternate takes that have appeared on CD reissues were originally released on PJ 78s and 45s. I know the Commodore Series would probably be too voluminous to place here but would anyone have a list of Chu Berry's Commodore releases. I don't think the Lord Discography is as comprehensive as the Commodore/Mosaic one. Maybe this has already been done here ? Thanks in advance

I think the first one I contributed to was an FTP site Blue Note gp. I remember getting caned by Kevin B for suggesting Mosaic release a Bobby Hutcherson set. A lot of the names are familiar to me - what's the story with "Chewie"? Just don't get much time to sit down & contribute/reply - as Chauncey Gardener said in "Being There", "I Like To Watch". Anyone out there with a copy of the Mosaic Chambers/Kelly Complete VeeJay (MD6-205) set that would be prepared to copy (eg AIFF files onto a disc or MP3's) a few titles/alts from the Frank Strozier Dec 9, 1959 & Feb 3, 1960 sessions. Unfortunately I didn't pick this up at the time as the Australian Dollar was dismal (like now but a bit worse) & missed out. Have tried Mosaic for possible straggler/single left over CD's but to no avail. I'm a Booker Little fan & there are 7 titles (see below) I'm trying to source. I even have a friend in Japan trying to find the double Strozier CD that had some of these.
