What about Jason Palmer ? His recent recording "Here Today" is IMHO on the same high level as Ambrose Akinmusire's "When Heart Emerges Glistening".

One of Sam's daughters was very involved with his career, and I suspect she'll want to keep the legacy going. Wasn't there talk at one time of a Mosaic box of tapes from Studio Rivbea? Man, that would be nice. A Sam Rivers Impulse Mosaic would be real nice too. Mosaic released the RivBea set recently. Please follow this link for details.

Amazon tracklist Does anybody know the discographic information of this sessions ? I bought this very cheap (2€) at a book shop. Unfortunately there is no liner information. The cover indicates the Mulligan Quartet with Art Farmer, but I'm not sure.
