  2. what I don't like about dusty groove is they ship Canadian orders to Sweden,then they are mailed to Canada,it now takes a month to get your order.chicago is only about 700 miles away and my cds travel almost 8000 miles.there must be a better system than this.

  5. anyone know the personnel of the lp max kaminsky-new orleans dixieland jazz-mk records 1001. on the cover it says kaminsky(tpt)cutshall(tbn)russell(clt)sullivan(pno)morgan(bs)wettling(drs).this cant be right, ihear a sax on some tracks also a banjo, guitar and the clarinet is not pee wee on a lot of numbers. i actually think it is a number of differant bands led by max. duke jerumonk

  8. while in the uk recently i bought a cd by anita oday four classic albums avid jazz cd a two cd set with four of anitas verve lps- anita sings the most-anita-an evening with anita oday- and the lady is a tramp. great value for only six pounds.does anyone know what other albums are on that label, i understand there is quite a few available.uk members will probely know.duke jerumonk
  9. in the 50s gerry mulligan made a series of albums with some of the jazz giants.monk,getz,etc,all of them good.i only wish he had made a lot more.i would like to have heard albums like gerry mulligan meets sonny rollins or gerry mulligan meets dexter gordon.what other giants would you have liked to see him record with.lets hear from you duke jerumonk.
