  4. None taken, I respect your views Hans. I agree about the game though , lets hope the tournament can produce more of the same.
  5. It was one of the best games I've seen in the last months. I hope the English team will play in same level in the world cup in Germany. ← So do I! That was an amazing performance after some of the drivel we've been playing for about the last year or so. We have some great individuals but haven't been playing well as a team at all, but last night was the most exciting friendly I can remember. I look forward to seeing more of Riquelme in the World Cup , what a great player.
  6. I've only heard him on a couple of recordings but I really like what I've heard of Rudresh Mahanthappa

I'm a little biased because I was there, but have since listened to the BBC broadcast several times, but: the Braxton is phenomenal. Everyone in the UK who's into this stuff has been talking about it. The whole band plays an absolute blinder (Taylor Ho Bynum in particular!) ← I've heard the Braxton set (on a webcast-sourced CDR, I think). Good one, yes! Would be interested to hear more about the Nabatov if anyone gets it! The Nabotov/Bennink (OOP now?) that I picked up upon David's recommendation is fabulous! How's the Nabotov on hatOLOGY? ← I received a copy from Leo today it is the BBC recording thats more than likely the webcast CDR you have, & very fine it is too!

    Joe McPhee

I've really enjoyed this recent release that has some really powerful playing by Joe on Trio-X: Moods: Playing with the Elements (Label: CIMP) Joe McPhee-tenor sax, fluglehorn, pocket trumpet / Dominic Duval-bass / Jay Rosen-drums
  12. Strange but interesting. This is a car advertisement from Great Britain. When they finished filming the ad, the film editor noticed something moving along the side of the car, like a ghostly white mist. They found out that a person had been killed a year earlier in that exact same spot. The ad was never put on TV because of the unexplained ghostly phenomenon. Watch the front end of the car as it clears the trees in the middle of the screen and you'll see the white mist crossing in front of the car then following it along the road....Spooky! Is it a ghost, or is it simply mist? You decide. If you listen to the ad, you'll even hear the cameraman whispering in the background about it near the end of the commercial. A little creepy but pretty cool http://www.bbc.co.uk/go/dna/mbfivelive/F21...er/ghostcar.wmv
