  1. Cherubini - String Quartet No.1 - The Britten Quartet Rott - String Quartet - Mainz Quartet
  2. I don't recall amyone mentioning the delightful album of Al Cohn and James Moody together on the MPS label
  3. My personal taste primarily oriented to jazz from the 40's, 50's and 60's leads me to prefer Charlie Mariano's playing on his albums from those years. Though I don't care for most of his later sessions. There are a few exceptions including the two albums with Tete Montoliu, and the excellent "Deep In A Dream"

  5. Very sorry to hear of the passing of Al Foster. He was a really fine drummer. Glad I had the opportunity to see him live.
  6. The Freddie Roach -"All That's Good" is available as a download on the Apple site.
  7. I generally prefer early Art Pepper. However, there are some things by late Art Pepper that I definitely like. One of my favorite Art Pepper albums is this one:
  8. Dick Morrissey was a damn good jazz tenor sax player.
  9. Emilie Mayer - String Quartet No.4 - Klenke Quartet Gade - String Quartet in F Major - Leipziger Quartet
