I've loved Ornette's music for 50+ years. I believe that, unfortunately, he is no longer able to make "competent" decisions himself. I've heard that for a number of years, not sure about 2009.

$21.50 at Amazon & currently out of stock. Anyone have a better deal??

FWIW, I really like Knuffke. O.K. - got it. I think it's very nice. Knuffke is in fine form. Berger plays piano as well as vibes. As they say what's not to like.

Downbeat reviewed it. Gave it 3 stars as I recall.

Her book, Just Kids, is very good IMO & won several awards. New book, M Train, coming in the fall. I believe you guys are underestimating her. Now if you said the same re: Taylor Swift I'd be in complete agreement.

You and me both......... Then I highly recommend the Charles Mingus and Clifford Jordan sets to you! I have almost everything in both of those, but nothing in the Beehive.
