Interesting to see Sonny Red "Sonny Red" with Cedar Walton + Herbie Lewis + Billy Higgins reissued .... : For Art Farmer buffs also "Homecoming" with Jimmy Heath + Cedar Walton + Sam Jones + Billy Higgins should be of interest .... EDIT : And as this is Yen 1000 issue, little money could be invested in this little Jazz Funk gem Pete Yellin "It`s The Right Thing" feat item alias Mario Rivera on reeds and groovy Clint Houston on bass ....:

    Sterling Mendelssohn perfomances from the german Bartholdy Quartett (Joshua Epstein 1. Violine + Max Speermann 2. Violine + Jörg-Wolfgang Jahn Viola + Annemarie Dengler Violoncello) from 1973/74 which (IMO) remained state of art until today .... beautufully recorded too and the 4CD reissue via Acanta/Membran costs a pittance ....
