My only worry in the East is the Celtics, but I still think they might be a little worn out by the time they face the Pistons due to a shallow bench. Especially if they have to face Cleveland in the second round. The addition of Theo Ratliff and Juan Dixon was a very smart move by Dumars.

We definitely have our share of "heavy weights" here in the capital city.

So I was scanning a recent issue of the Lansing Community Newspapers, which is basically a free weekly collection of stories from Lansing's main, conglomerate-owned paper The Lansing State Journal. I've asked that it not be thrown on my porch every Sunday since it usually just winds up underneath the cat box, but they insist. Anyway, I'm waiting for my toaster oven to ding and skimming the paper and I see this photo under the "home improvement" section. Underneath the article about choosing flooring is another headline that states boldly "Laminate is a flooring option". WOW! REALLY!?!? Me like floors. Derrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

I think I saw some of those people at the McDonald's this afternoon.
