People think, they just don't think long term. I bought a Land Rover because I wanted my co-workers to think I was successful. Saving money on gas or car payments isn't going to get me anywhere. I can't take it with me! I need 8 cylinders and enough horsepower to get me through a shallow river, especially in the suburbs where the local government has the budget to keep the roads well paved. Not to mention the leather interior. These are all modern day necessities. You all are stuck in the past. The funniest thing is seeing these huge behemoth SUV's brake over railroad tracks. What's wrong, buddy? I thought that Navigator can go over boulders the size of small cars... at least that's what the commercials portray!

I was just noticing while driving home this evening that it seems like one in every three vehicles I passed or that where in front of me where SUVs. As Jazz Kat said, it's just a game of "keepin' up with the Jones's." People don't think.

Gotta love those Muse record covers. Have you seen Houston Person's Wildflower? That's a nice record with a nice cover as well.

That's what happens when we build our society around expansion and urban sprawl.

I recently got a copy of Steinberg's The Grand for my Cubase workstation and it is real nice. I'm using an old synth as a MIDI controller and I'm actually more comfortable playing piano parts on a synth action than I am on a real piano or a simulated piano-type action!

Yes, that is what I'm talking about... script showing up for no reason. It's strange. I'll have to look through my code and see if something is funky. For what it's worth, I tried the homepage on that computer with IE and it was fine. I tried it with Netscape and it was fine, so who knows?

Weird... I called my wife and she said it looked fine on her computer. It looks fine here on Safari on this mac. Strange...

BTW, I just installed Firefox here at work and looked at my homepage (www.organissimo.org) and it was all messed up. I have Firefox at home and it looks fine. Is it messed up for you?

So in Firefox, if I go to say the FedEx website, the FedEx logo appears to the left of the domain name in the address bar. It's a tiny little logo, but it's neat. Same thing for eBay. How do I do that for my webpage?

The easy solution to this would be to use different earphones. Shure E2's are a nice alternative.

A guy who used to be the bouncer at a local bar we play had to move and didn't have room for it anymore. It's a nice 20's Chickering. My dad is a piano technician/tuner as well, so I get free tunings!

I remember this thread! Actually, I recently got a piano for free, so I've been farting around with it. My wife keeps saying, "What are you talking about, you can't play piano?! You sound great!" She's too kind. But my main focus is still organ.
