That is a good question, and one that I do not know the answer to offhand. The way I understand it currently is that we get the same amount per song from every service, but I'll have to check on that. Thanks for bringing it up!

My plan with politics is to make it opt-in only. In other words, it is already hidden from non-members (guests). I'd like to hide it from members as well. Instead of having a special non-political subclass like we have now, everyone will be non-political until you ask to be allowed into the political forum. If you want to opt-in, then you have to agree to keep politics there and there only and not bring it into other parts of the board.

No need for refreshing - my personal bar in Opera displayed the neat little Org icon all by itself! Thanks Jim! One minor qualm - could you remove the white edges around the circle? If look at the favicon on a dark background you will see what I mean. The edges are actually peach/orange, like the board. Gosh, I can't do anything right. B-)

ss1, norton is a piece of crap. Do yourself a favor and get AVG (www.grisoft.com). They have a free version and even the virus database updates are free. It's also smaller than Norton and doesn't clog up your resources. Norton is a memory hog. AVG Free Edition is here: http://www.grisoft.com/doc/40/lng/us/tpl/tpl01 That said, you still need a program that scans for malware, spyware, and the like. Ad-Aware is a good one.

I would like to mention that we will have the ever-funky and soulful Mr. Johnny Gist with us at Baker's Keyboard Lounge on May 28th playing tenor saxophone (and maybe some alto, too!) Johnny really adds to the greaze-factor and it's a pleasure to play with him! This is going to be a great time, folks!

The software currently does not have an ignore function. It will when I upgrade the board to version 2.0, which I have waiting in the wings. I'm still waiting for the server admin to give me the okay, however.
