  1. The only link I can give you is the Paypal homepage. www.paypal.com Go there, click on "Send Money" and follow the instructions. You'll need the email address I use for Paypal payments, which is b3groover@hotmail.com. You do not need to be a member of Paypal to send the money. You can simply use a credit card. If all that is German to you, than don't worry about it.
  2. MG, Hank unfortunately passed away in 2004. I've got all the records he did for Doubletime. Absolutely horrendous cover art but great music.
  3. Someone kindly posted this on my FB page. Nice to see Hank Marr in action. I spoke with him a few times on the phone back in 2002 or so. He was very gracious and kind to me. I never had a chance to see him live but I own many of his records.
  4. Thanks, everyone. With the checks coming (got a few PMs) we should have enough to get us out of the hole. I think maybe thrice yearly fundraisers are the way to go. $600 at a time, three times a year. Sorry I've been MIA lately, but I have a lot of stuff going on.
  5. After initially earning around $130 a month (close to the $150 server costs for this website) via Google Ads, I thought we'd be okay. But the earnings have dropped off considerably since that first month to the point where last month the ads only brought in around $40. I'm currently $600 in the hole for this server. Obviously the ads are not effective (and they are annoying), so I turned them off. That means we need to raise some money. My paypal is b3groover@hotmail.com We have a new PO Box, but I'd rather you send checks to my home address because I am leaving for a two-month tour with Janiva Magness on Tuesday and I won't be able to check the PO Box. If you want to send a check, please PM me for my home address (don't really want to post it here). Thanks! Oh, and make checks out to me, not organissimo.
  6. What is wrong with people? For two days in a row a little boy, who lives a block away, has wandered into our yard. He says he's four years old (but he also says he's in Kindergarten... so maybe he's five?) and yesterday Alison walked him back home. His grandmother, who is supposed to be watching him, had no idea he was gone and was totally nonchalant about that fact. And here he is again, today. He's obviously lonely. I'm letting him play with my girls, but what to do about the horrendo...

  7. Ah, pasta salad... summertime! Just made some with elbow macaroni, hardboiled eggs, black beans, celery, carrots, tuna, & onion with a little mayonnaise and mustard. So yummy.

  8. Hop Cat Jazz Jam tonight with organissimo. Beer time, yo.

  9. I've been home since May 23rd and I've had one day off with no work (tunings, gigs, miscellaneous); that was Memorial Day. I'm tired but thankful. Tomorrow at the Hop Cat with organissimo. Monday I might be going back to Clarkston to continue wiring Kid Rock's new studio. Maybe Tuesday I will be able to just chill.

  10. The Roger Waters - The Wall Live show last night at Van Andel was mind-blowing. Incredibly emotional experience that I'm still digesting today. Haunted my dreams last night as well.

  11. RIP Ray Bradbury. What a visionary.

  12. Yes, bad tube. It shouldn't do that.
  13. On FB, posting "agree to disagree" is really a substitution for "I can't refute your argument, so I'm going to just say this instead."

  14. I wish I could personally respond to all the birthday wishes, but I'd be here all night. Thanks everyone, it really means a lot to me. It was a fun day. Hung out with Glenn Brown doing some wiring work at the studio he designed for Kid Rock. Now home with the family. Looking forward to the weekend.

  15. "Through the reading of popular scientific books I soon reached the conviction that much in the stories of the Bible could not be true. The consequence was a positively fanatic orgy of freethinking coupled with the impression that youth is intentionally being deceived by the state through lies; it was a crushing impression. Mistrust of every kind of authority grew out of this experience, a skeptical attitude toward the convictions that were alive in any specific social environment - an attitu...

  22. I was looking for nutritional / ingredient information for the Denny's menu today during our 14 hour road trip to Seattle, and stumbled upon a forum where someone was complaining the the food at Shoney's was too "fancy". Wow.

  23. Mormonism: When regular Christianity just isn't unbelievable enough for you.

  24. So the Minnesota legislature just approved $500 million of tax payer money for a new Vikings stadium after being threatened with the possibility of the team moving to Los Angeles. And yet last year, that same legislature slashed education & health services and forced early retirement or simply laid off hundreds of state employees in order to close a $6.2 billion budget deficit.

  25. LA bound today. Shows up the West Coast starting in Winters, CA. Then all the way across the country to Chesapeake Bay.
