I came to the Joe Henderson party really late. The first disc I had with him featured, still one of my favorites, is Bruce Forman's Forman on the Job. Henderson is featured on a little over half the tunes. Outstanding. Hey Barak, I recognize your avatar!

You can't go wrong with any of the the Art Farmer dates from the '80's that featured Clifford Jordan on Soul Note and Contemporary. Another date on Strata East that I tend to reach for more than "In the World" is a live date called "Reasons in Tonality" which features Jordan along side George Coleman and Julius Watkins.
