Yes, my fellow Canadian Cory Weeds is a fine player and a very enthusiastic hard bopper. Plus his label Cellar Live has largely taken over from the now dormant Sharp Nine and Reservoir labels in recording many of today's top straight ahead and hard bop musicians. Yes, for sure, plus I agree with the recommendations of the Ryan Truesdell Gil Evans Project CD's. Excellent. And I'll probably get sanctioned for this one. But it's very, very good IMHO. Just forget who it's by and enjoy!
