  1. For the Firehouse Five +2 that was their normal stage apparel, so it wasn't really so much a costume for them, just their everyday work clothes. A costume for them would have been a suit and tie!

  3. "Costume" would be defined as clothes not typically worn by said musician while at work or in everyday life. Thus, top hat and tails would not be a costume for Fred Astaire, but probably would be for most everybody else. Overalls would not be a costume for Art Blakey since he really wore them (at least on that Keystone Korner album cover), but most certainly would be for Wynton Marsalis. Here's a couple of examples with which to begin:

  5. I got this brand new CD last week from a seller on Amazon for 99 cents + shipping. It's a good disc, certainly worth that price. I see there is still one new copy for sale at 99 cents and a couple of used copies starting at 80 cents on Amazon right now.
