    NP: I know Shearing's three MPS LPs with NHØP & Louis Stewart . . . and his solo LP, My Ship. But I had no idea that The Way We Are existed. Will give it a listen.

    Ken, I didn't realize that LP had been issued on Muse. I have the album too -- it's terrific! -- but it's on the Palo Alto Jazz label (with a different cover). Did Muse reissue it when PAJ went belly-up?

    Reissue of two of Fuller's Savoy LPs, both recorded in 1959. Also, both feature Benny Golson. R.I.P. I'm gonna check it out.

    I wonder: Is the continuation of the music on tape reel stashed on a shelf somewhere, waiting for an expanded reissue? One can hope.

    I've been spinning a couple LPs that James Moody made for Vanguard in the late-70s: and Neither of these are top-tier Moody albums. Even so, I dig his playing so much that I'm thoroughly enjoying them.
