  4. NP: Don Patterson - Steady Comin' at Ya (32 Jazz) Originally released as These Are Soulful Days (Muse, 1974) -- with Jimmy Heath, Pat Martino, and Tootie Heath -- plus three bonus tracks from two other Muse LPs. So true!

  6. Two Shostakovich symphonies from Rozhdestvensky's cycle with the USSR Ministry of Culture SO. Last night - Symphony No. 5 Right now - Symphony No. 10 Unforgettable performances.

  10. Listening to more Bobby Bradford. With John Stevens this time instead of John Carter.
  11. Now streaming: Such great, vital, beautiful music. Gosh, I wish I would've bought the Carter/Bradford Mosaic Select when it was available. I kick myself for not taking the plunge. But money was super-tight back then; my wife & I were raising our family. . . . Hmm. I might just have to plop for a used copy, if I can find a set that's reasonably priced.
