  1. Dude, I pulled an all-nighter about a year ago (I was copying parts, and I'm not too fast at that), and I had a stack of about 15 CDs out to go through while I worked. THIS mutherclucker ended up in the player for about 6 freakin' hours, just repeating itself over and over and over and over and... It's not that it's great. It's really not. It's just that it's SO DAMN GOOD!
  2. Of course you know that post was directed at deus, I'm guessing it was a birthday wish. According to my Engelsk/Dansk ordbog, he wished Deus a happy pterodactyl, but I think I found a misprint...
  3. Don't encourage him, Dan. Sheesh! OK now for the answer: I remember reading of charred human bones found in extinguished Neanderthal campfires. However, with today's techniques we can find traces of human myoglobin, a protein found in the human heart and skeletal muscles in cooking pots and fossilized human feces. Is this getting gross enough for ya? I also find this topic interesting. I once wrote a History Channel show on the Essex, and read some of those other accounts as well (Donner Party, Greely expedition, Peru airplane). Feel free to post more from the book (although others might disagree.) Wow! Awesome! Adam! Got to read the book first. I'm too busy posting here to actually read the book. I'll start it tonight.
  4. My wife is Asian as well. That's why I asked.
  5. This step back into CONTROVERSY is a shameless and transparent attempt by DEEP to keep the attention off of ME! B) I can't compete against controversies... Everyone knows that the Organissimo board personnel are all suckers for CONTROVERSY.
  6. What race, DEEP? Just curious...
  7. I think it's "PHOOEY!" Deep...
  8. Great attitude, Deus!
  9. Well that's just terrific, Daniel. The chances of me finding and being able to afford the individual cd is remote at best. I don't want to buy the Mosaic for just one session. What do you think of the other lesser known sessions included in the Mosaic? What about "How Insensitive?" I've already got the Big Band and "I Don't Care Who knows it."
  10. Happy B-day to Deus a.k.a. Methuselah! A big 99 years for him.
  11. Way to go DEEP! That Bloviation stuff sells big, huh?
  12. I just ordered "Merry Ol Soul" from Dustys. It's a JRVG isn't it? I'm gonna pass on the Mosaic since I'm less interested in the other stuff. I've got some of the other sessions on single cds except for "PHantom" and a couple of the others not reviewed too flatteringly by AMG.
  13. "Who Can I Turn To?" This tune is just burnin me up right now. Can't stop playing it.
  14. No pictures should be allowed in this thread. Please....
  15. Yes, of course, Alex. Excuse me.
  16. Wow, I'd like to know too.
  17. I thought that was YOUR job Catesta?
  18. Sorry you're leaving, PFunk, but the board will continue fine without you. Your fears are unfounded in my opinion. Hope you return soon.
  19. Games for people with short attention spans!
  20. Sounds to me like they needed a good recipie for cock au vin... In rereading the original quote, it would appear that the murdered man was even nuttier than the cannibal! At least the cannibal didn't try to eat himself.
  21. You're right, SS. Car payments suck. Sorry to hear about your accident. Surely, you've got some insurance protection?? I would have hurt my knee against the other careless driver's jaw if he didn't have coverage!
  22. Don't encourage him, Dan. Sheesh! OK now for the answer: I remember reading of charred human bones found in extinguished Neanderthal campfires. 23. That's right, Dan. As mentioned, I'm interested in this topic about regular cannibalism, not criminal cannibalism. Cannibalism fact #1 from my book: What physical evidence do we have that ritual cannibalism did occur amongst primitives? Think about it for a bit and I'll present the answer in the next post.
