  1. Ha! I squeezed by Barak! No way that's an easy thing to do!
  2. Second try just now and first sober attempt 458,062, geo IQ 121, level 11. It really wouldn't be fair for me to try again because some of the questions are repeated from last night's impaired attempt.
  3. I tried it w/ a bunch of beers and scored 402,508. I know I can do better and will try again tomorrow. I'm good at geography and knew where everything was but was bothered by the timer. Made it through all the levels.
  4. I'm a bit loaded. Your excuse, Beri?
  5. To get this thread on to important things, I offer this quote from an Eagles' fan. That's not how the Pats are playing. They are systematically destroying teams, then kicking them when they are down just to make sure they are dead. Then they piss on the corpses. The Pats are playing angry, no holds barred, no mercy. It is a beautiful thing to watch.
  6. Great week for me. Anything can happen week-to-week. I plan to be on top by playoff end!
  7. Week 11 results: Noj 13-3 Conn 14-2 Van B. 9-7 YTD results: Noj 104-56 Conn 100-60 Van B. 99-61
  8. Here's what Belichick said today on the subject: "Those situations, that point in the game I think I really don't like kicking field goals," said Belichick. "I feel like that's just adding points, so I'd rather go for it on fourth down and give them an opportunity to stop us. Our offense moved the ball well, so give them an opportunity to keep playing." Makes sense to me.
  9. The Bills' take on "running up the score:" Coach Dick Jauron (on the Patriots going for it on fourth down) "No, I have no problems with that. It's our job to stop them. It's not their job to do what you or we might want them to do. They are just playing football." General manager Marv Levy (on the Patriots going for it on fourth down) "They played magnificiently. They are as good of a team as I have seen in quite some time. I have no gripe for players who are out there and want to excel and want to do things, and want to look good, and play with pride. It's up to us to stop them and not say 'don't throw the ball, don't do this.' No gripes at all on that."
  10. Whatever the price you seek, ebay will likely be your best bet. I think it represents the "true" market value of Mosaics, though it sometimes errs on the upside.
  11. Do you do anything else with your time, Jim?
  12. PFW's opinion: POSTED 11:12 p.m. EST, November 18, 2007 PATS GO TOO FAR, AGAIN With a bye during Week Ten and a close game against the Colts before that, it has been three weeks since we've seen the Ferrari among a flock of Fords that is the New England Patriots. And it's clear to us that coach Bill Belichick still doesn't know, or care, if he laps the field 50 times. Twice in the third quarter while sporting huge leads, the Patriots kept the field goal unit on the sidelines for a fourth down deep in the Bills' end. On the second occasion, the Pats were up 42-10 on the Buffalo 10 and New England faced fourth and one. The groan of disapproval from the crowd at Ralph Wilson Stadium was barely audible over the comments of NBC's Al Michaels and John Madden, who seemed to see no problem with the maneuver. We did, and we do. The Patriots are abusing their power, in our view, and they'd better hope that Earl Hickey is wrong about that whole karma thing. We don't know whether it's karma or fate or just an innate sense of justice and fairness, but we've had a feeling for a couple of weeks now that something will happen to keep the Pats from getting to the Super Bowl or, when they do, someone like Brett Favre will find a way to chop down the beanstalk. I hate the mediots!
  13. What? You deserting your team? (Agg=dick)
  14. You ever notice that the Patriots never come out "flat" and lose like the Steelers lost to the 1-8 Jets today? Do you know why, Agg? Think for a while.... It's because Bill Belichick is not about letting up. The team just doesn't stop playing until the game is over. It's really as simple as that. NE played their starters the last game of the 2006 season against Tennessee when they had already won their division. Rodney Harrison got hurt in that game. BB doesn't care. He believes in playing his players. Dungy got some heat the year the Colts were upset against the Steelers. He had rested his players the last game of the season, and the mediots thought his players played flat as a result. Different styles, folks. I have little doubt that BB will play his starters the last game of the season against the Giants. He might rest them the 4th quarter, but they will be playing.
  15. Typical comment from a college football fan. I got news for you, Agg. NFL is not college! There's no such thing as running up scores. These are million dollar babies. We put the offense in to score. If we don't want to score, we put in the punting team. We're not playing Texas A&M for cryin' out loud!
  16. No pick on the Monday night game.
  17. Pats have barely broken a sweat and it's 14-0. Wondering if Free still has that "feelin'?"
  18. More fun with Emmitt: (the guy is a heck of a lot more fun than 99% of football heads.) Apparently, Emmitt is oblivious to the criticism. Or no one has bothered to share it with him. Or there's been no effort at all to get him to do a better job. Because he did it again. Today. While discussing whether the Steelers can beat the Patriots, Emmitt said: "This kind of inconsistency play against a team like New England will get you completely blowed out."
  19. Week 10 results: Noj 8-6 Van B. 6-8 Conn 6-8 Year to date: Noj 91-53 Van B. 90-54 Conn 86-58
  20. I am not rooting for the CHEATERS in NE ! They don't need your cheers, Mark.
  21. I am now officially rooting for the Dolts.
