  10. I joined up at yourmusic.com too. The CD/DVD selections are only $5.99, which is cheaper than 2 discs from the BMG club. (like Fats Waller and Glenn Miller Centenial Collection) I try to line up my queue with the CD/DVD sets that are priced at $5.99. Some of the box sets are cheaper too.
  11. If you click on the Woody Shaw, you can see some LPs in the background.
  12. Anyone? Did not work for me either. From the Stevehoffman site, someone mentioned the codes have not been working for their latest offer. Supposedly, it will be fixed soon.
  13. I picked it up at Best Buy with the Target ad for a price comparison. Best Buy also included a $5 gift card in the box set. So the final price was about $23.

  15. $200 plus
  16. Found a toll free phone number for BMG. 888-448-6227 (they said I was a preferred member, but aren't we all?)
  17. I would pick this up too, if I could ever find it, that is. I have never even SEEN this sucker, and I have been looking for about 5 years. you can thank me later! http://www.deepdiscountcd.com/index.cfm?re...bass%20clarinet $21.80 ?? For a $27.95 import. Is it that good?
  18. I thought the rule of thumb was to only play an LP once a day too. So if you want to listen to an album multiple times, play the CD-R. Someone suggested that if you play an LP without letting it REST, the grooves may still be shaking slightly, so the next play might cause more wear in the grove. Seemed reasonable to me.
  19. OK, Since that sounded like a good deal, I ordered it too.
  20. New: David Bowie : Diamond Dogs 30th Anniversary Edition (2CD) Cardigans : CD/DVD

  22. Yeah, DVDs are the way to go. My friend who's into Springsteen says they are already trading boots on DVD, instead of CDRs now. Personal DVD recorders can be purchased for $250 and less. People are transferring their VHS tapes to DVD.
  23. Just saw a Diana Krall DVD out too. $15 list Live At THe Montreal Jazz festival. Looked like songs from her latest CD.
  24. Shit!! You're Amoeba was cheaper than the Hollywood store. What a bargain.
