  2. Wait a minute; I think I've got this one...
  3. Do any of you have experience with the Bear Family Johnny Cash box "Come on Ride This Train" with 8 "concept" albums of Americana? Eight complete albums plus outtakes, not a chronological order like the boxes. I'm not quite the completist, so I don't think that I need the other Bear Family boxes, but this one intrigues me. ← I don't have the Bear set, but I have a couple of the originals, and for me they are a lot weaker than the earlier stuff I have. I dunno; maybe 'concept albums' rub me the wrong way or something, but they just don't click for me...
  4. Don't worry about it; you're just hitting a few grumps in the road...

It doesn't help, Geoff; after a page or two of sales the darned thing is full and you just have to get another one...

  18. Hell yeah! Make him look like a fool and sell some copies!
  19. Heck, I'd of bought the damn thing if I'd noticed it in time. Still willing to sell it for $10, DrJ?
  20. Oh come on; they're remaking this again? What's next, A Star is Born with Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears?? (Gawd, I hope no Hollywood types are reading this; if so, it ain't my fault!)

  22. '78 to '82 in the Nav; homeported in Yokusuka, Japan most of the time. Totally peacetime. Closest I ever came to action was when we swarmed the beach at Diego Garcia after three months in the Indian Ocean... No, I haven't read anything on the Weimar Republic. I guess I'm pretty provincial; most of my reading has been on U.S. history. Or else African.
  23. Will this include tracks of Rich lecturing the band?
