  1. I thought everyone knew F-Troop was sixties; it says so right in the theme song. "The end of the Civil War was near...", and that wasn't until '65, right?
  2. ...the biggest antennae in TVLand?
  3. Hmm. Maybe I'd better forget the fajitas next time at El Burro and give 'em a shot. Although to be honest, this looks like something that would be better made at a dive where they don't speak English. Fortunately, I know just the place. (I can only order chicken there, because the only "meat" word I know is pollo.)
  4. Dah, I just look'it the pichers...
  5. I say women should have been selected for this too B) I agree. Doing coke without women is like smoking pot without a refrigerator...
  6. You realize you're killing me here...
  7. 'Fraid not... but it's understandable- you were groggy. I still don't think it's a Monk tune. Same here, even though that left hand is pure Monk...but then you realize having me agree with you on these things is not a good sign...
  8. Jeezus, Dan...and people thought Deep was being a bozo...
  9. Jeez, thanks; I've been looking for that disc for weeks!
  10. Forget it, Conn. To quote Gene Kelly in Singing in the Rain: "Dignity. Always dignity." Honk! Tweet!! Blatt!!!
  11. Damn! I knew I wasn't spelling the name right, but every way I tried looked wrong...
  12. Yeah, I love those old 50's shows like "F Troop"....wait a minute...
  13. Thank you!!! James Brown, my ass... I mean, if everyone says it is, okay, but it must have been before his voice finished changing...
  14. I don't care where it is; I'm not getting near this psychotic murderer!!!
  15. Why, it's the secret woid, of course!
  16. Don't you dare!
  17. Steve Martin probably would have made more sense...
  18. Which reminds me, for those of you who aren't single, how does your spouse file their CDs? Does it make ANY sense to you at all? I swear, my wife "liberated" my Jackie Wilson and Hollies CDs because she couldn't find them in my carefully, alphabetical arrangement. I'll never see them again, because now they are filed by her system, which apparently involves phases of the moon and sleeve color...
  19. Is that aimed at me, Chuck? Do you have your duct tape ready?
  20. No no no, not by Mingus, one just reminded me somewhat of Mingus but I was afraid to mention it. Then saw that others mentioned it...
  21. Yeah, what he said! -Stanley C.
  22. I didn't know about the Bob Brookmeyer Mosaic Select, either...I need to start checking this site more often!
  23. God, you people are suckers! Don't you realize that some bar in California is stealing your photos at this very minute, and posting insulting "witty" comments about you???
  24. Never ate one. Hell, I'd probably pull a Gerald Ford and eat the corn husk...
  25. Wow! And to think I was too embarrassed to mention that 1/3 reminded me of Mingus...me and half the participants. Oh, and after poking around on redhotjazz.com, I withdraw my guess of ODJB on the No Man's Land track...shoulda known; it just seemed too "jaunty" for someone who'd actually been over there...
