Wow...thought I was rare. At least two or three nights a week, I'll actually fall asleep, sleep for fifteen minutes to half an hour, and wake up refreshed, ready to go, with no way to get back to sleep. I usually have to stay up for three hours minimum before I can get back to sleep. Then drag all day...
So if you see me here after 10:00 Pacific Time, it's another long night.
I think the main problem is that I've been a night owl all my life. Always worked swing or grave. Even in high school, I'd come home, nap for a couple of hours and stay up most of the night. Now, I have to be at work at 7 AM. I've been doing it for about two years now, and I'm beginning to face the fact that those who said "you'll adjust" just didn't know what the hell they were talking about.
