  5. yeah, I was about to be there, but E2 is like a complete 180, about immigrant parents and their kids, very warm, sensitive and insightful. so the broken condom thing of E1 gets very balanced out. The rest of the episodes play that balancing game mostly very nicely. but that E1 nearly decided me otherwise. and I do like that Ansari casts his own parents, nice touch. They're sweet.
  6. Aziz Ansari, good shit, and a hipster's musical dream, I'm guessing. Binge watching now, just 10 episodes.

  12. I had forgotten all about that record, to be honest, but yeah, it's a worthy documnet. Menza would be one of the least reasons for me to revisit it, actually, but Nistico would be the toppermost, he's in fine form indeed.
  13. Greinke to Arizona...either they promised him to build a better team or else he is all about the money to a level I never figured him for. Or I dunno, maybe he just don't dig DST.
  14. Commies From Mars Cunnie Williams Kinney Dorham
  15. Summa Dem Satyrs Alla Dem Haters Look Out Son, It's The Space Invaders

  17. I got one, but it was all advertisements.
  18. They need web access to download, of course, but not to install(?)...and Windows Update is very good about starting back up where it left off when you power up, it'll take care of its business before giving you over to yours. How hot does your router get, anyway? How big is it? Just asking out of curiosity...our router is about the size of cigar box, a little thinner. And I remember the days when a stranger or a strange vehicle outside your house raised an eyebrow...it's been a long time, though. Different worlds!
  19. Them Tom Jones The Former Frederick Russell Jones
  20. Moved this to Offering and Looking For, in hopes of increased visibility of intent.
  21. The Who Larry Dunn Cousin Itt
  22. Linton Garner Fuzzy Thurston Furry Lewis
  23. A discographical clusterfuck apparently, but who cares, really? Doesn't matter where they were or when, the record's playing right now, where you are.
  24. Judith Kerr Joseph Kearns Mugda Kurne
  25. If they can do that at night, they can do it by day. And if your protection is adequate enough that they can't do it during the day, then they won't be able to do it at night. An occasional reboot/power cycle of everything is a good idea in general. But a daily on-off really isn't necessary for computers/networks unless there's batteries involved and/or potential heat damage going on.
