Apparently, this and some other Earland sides were hugely popular with Chicago steppers (a style of dancing). I only learned this from reading Dusty Groove blurbs, but Jesus, look at the dancers, dancing with no music, and good god, YES. It makes perfect sense! Here's another one: Earland was always popular on the Black jazz radio shows around here too.
