If it were just about numbers, hell, that's business, not life. Michael Young's fallen off a cliff this year? Yep. Bench Michael Young? No, because you're playing with humans, not statistical simulations. A manager who doesn't have a good read on his team's psyche/intangibles/etc will be named Bobby Valentine &amp; end up likewise. <br><br>That, and that Jon Daniels is the kind of GM that just makes you want to say "thank you". The young man does his homework and plays his game as well as the players have come to play theirs. Success or failure in the crapshoots be damned, for day-to-day effort/results, what more can you realistically ask for?

Had a look, wasn't sure that I NEEDED it, already having some similar musics in various forms, but sure as hell WANTED it, so I ordered it & have been playing it for the last two days, enjoying it very much every step of the way. I can map almost all of it back to some seminal "name" sources, but there's the odd thing here and there that seems so totally local as to be stunningly revelatory, and I say that as somebody who's spent a fair number of Sundays listening to local 15-minuite live broadcasts from local storefront churches where things got quite local, if you know what I mean. So, yeah. Recommended with no reservations whatsomever.

Speaking of toys...I've started lloking for a reasonably priced Changeable Charlie set (Haslam edition preferred,as it's what I had as a kid). If you know of one, let me know. I want the box too, complete. Doesn't have to be in great shape, just complete. I want to have a Changeable Charlie face by my side to match my mood for the day.
