On further reflection, the BN album he did with Greg Osby had some extra fire, maybe probably because Idris Muhammed was on hand to keep the fires fanned. But Lovano s records are too often too concept-y for me. And I do like that he's recorded with Marilyn Crispell on ECM. That's a good thing.
