  8. on side 2, is it cecil payne or pepper adams on the 1st solo, i say cecil... ok trane hasnt soloed at all one side 1, it was all Donald Byrd (what a pleasant suprise! lol) side 2 , trane gets some after the bari solo so this is def. mono, rigfgt?

Does anyone know the exact years of the Presige 300 45 series? oh, and my copy: clearly has John Coltrane as the lader (and in pareentheess donald byrd on tpt on one side) so yea i just spent 10 bucks on this, but my rationale was, i dont have a lot of coltrane on 45....

  17. VOCALS MY FOOT: this is warne KILLIN!!!!!!he gets a HUGE sax solo, for a jazz swing 45. its like warne's 90125, like playing his crazy warne way on a little jazz single, lol-- its AWESOME!

  21. i believe you chuck, i mean when i see a Blue Note 60s pressing, i think, well its notan orginal 1950s, but its still a hell of a lot of generations aside from the cd.........
  22. i have a question. what happened to all the blue note lps. why when a copy of Lee Morgan Indeed! goes on ebay, it closes for over 1500 dollars? i recall hearing a while back cetain releases like "Hank" only sold 500 copies...but what happened to the rest. what about copies of bn lps sold, why are they so hard to find. surely there more somewhere....
  23. caruso on red victrola label/ is this a reissue? its pretty old, 2 sided though- i could read off the matrix #s if you want....12"in 78.... *MINT/ no scratchy/pop noise whatsoever, yes lp noise, but not like surface noise, you know what i mean? anyways its like silent, as far as surface noise goes
