havent seen them anywhere since the demise of tower-- i have seen em on amazon-- but i dont use credit card-- is there another online place to get them you guys would recommend? i wish i cuold get them in a store somewhere....

also alto, session, etc i know of some birds, mingus, ive seen this weird gene krupa aircheck disc (the cover is very yellow), the wardell, billie holiday, what other artists are covered?

my basie disc is a good find today, but i dont wanna be suprised anymore not with a label thats 50 years old or whatever- when were these discs printed? how many different artists are represented on them?

i think first and foremost we need to broadly ask him about his reccolections of his father, personally and musically, etc- and also it is imparative that we address his dimise and the mysterious circumstances surrounding that-- also isnt babyface owed millions of dollars in back royalities by EMI or blue note? maybe we can bring that up too.....

i just got the soundtrack to battlestar gallactaca- its the coolest thing youve ever heard in your life- its two 15 min long disco songs- it litteraly erased my whole previous perception of what disco dance music can be like. it is no dancefloor disco, but soundtrack disco. i also got his 1984 soundtrack to ELECTRIC DREAMS which features some cuts by ELO! its hard 2 find his stuff cause its under the partcular movie name usually not his own. i have to start buying anything i see w/ his name on it.

any of you have this? its funny the label is orange, with a little pumpkin on it- lol. vinyuyl is really filmsy a la late 70s RCA- whos pumpkin? PS THE BACK SCRIPT LOOKS LIKE THE EXACT SAME FONT THAT XANADU USES
