  1. In the late 1970ies we had a private concert with Lou Blackburn & I think Carmel Jones. I have some snapshots from that event (unjforunately without flashlight which was not allowed within the club) but I am certain these two were in that group. Cant remember the name but could have been Mombasa.

  3. Here are some more Informations on an Al Cohn / Rein De Graf LP as well as on Al Porcinos work in Germany. As to Al Porcino - one of the few US artists coming to Germany to live here [another one was Herb Geller] he directed the Burghausen Big Band. Burghausen is a place in southern Germany with the well know "Burghausener Jazz Tage" each year. Beside the mentioned big band recording on the RazmTaz Jazz label (subtitle Vol. 1 but a vol. 2 never apperared IMHO) he has recorded a very good big band LP on the "Jazz Mark label" titled " In Oblivion" and also a CD titled "Al Porcino Big Band Live" And I add finally some private recordings from the Bavarian radio

  11. Stumbled recently over the music of Lalo Schifrin when looking at his 4 CD box. I add a list of tracks from these 4 CDs. As it seems there might be some examples in that "twighlight mood" among his works. Cant say which ones because I have played only once 2 CDs and that was some time ago
