i saw michel camilo perform with his trio last night. he was just incredible. i had not realized what a talented pianist he is. now i will hunt down some of his cds!

much thanks guys! yesterday was a great day! i was the chaparone for the fifth grade field trip and spent the day in orlando at islands of adventure with my 10 year old (and about 120 othe fifth graders!)We got on the bus at 5:30 and spent the entire day on roller coaster rides that i would never think of going on (but for the plaintive cries of "c'mon dad - it'll be fun!!! It was!) 50 was a great year but went by really fast. yes jeff i agree that 51 is the perfect age because that's the age i am. I am very lucky to be in good health and to have a loving wife and family. Yes, it is the perfect age! Thanks Conrad for haley (no I’ve never seen her before and wow!), bill for RRK and all of you - my online, jazz loving family for your birthday wishes and friendship.
