  1. Hit 69 here this afternoon. I believe that's what we needed for the record high for this date, IIRC. Still getting at or below freezing every night, but the last few days have been high 50's to high 60's. Oh, and the ground thawed today. Lots of wet pavement...
  2. Crazy! Just checked on my iMac and it looks fine there. WTF? Oh well...
  3. Most larger companies, professional sports franchises, movie studios, etc., have them, so there must be some kind of payoff. I'm not seeing the joke.
  4. Hmmmm... Browser roll call? Safari here.
  5. Very odd. So three of us can see it, but it looks fine to three others. I wonder if Steve and dana are also using tablets or portable media? And the rest of you are on lap/desktops?
  6. So, not answering the questions? Cool, moving on.
  7. Because they use social media? Don't most Jazz artists use social media?
  8. Hahaha...is that good for engraving as well?
  9. Screen cap from my iPad.
  10. And on your's only, apparently. I'd say copy and paste, then delete and repost, but I think we all know how that ends. ;)
  11. Nah, give it a try next time you buy a CD. Works like a charm. There's a lip in the case right there and the plastic usually cuts quite easily. If you need more explicit instructions just let me know. For the double-sized jewel cases for holding 2/3/4 discs, I did the same thing, only in that gap in the spine between the from and rear cover.
  12. You can't see it on your end? Your entire post runs right through the right border of the post. I wonder why Steve and I can see it, but you can't? Now I'm beginning to wonder if all of this isn't directly attributable to your account. Which doesn't sound logical. But holy fuck are you having some weird stuff happen to you.
  13. Your previous post is running off the page, Larry.
  14. BTW, Steve I was listening to Evan Parker's Time Lapse yesterday. Holy fuck are the first two or three tracks on that album some really incredible stuff!
  15. Hahaha...Larry, WTF?!
  16. Hahaha... Hey, Steve! How many times did you see me post almost the exact same things that Dan posted above over the years?
  17. That's cool. It's worth the time invested, IMO.
  18. Wow. What else did you listen to? Pretty much everything I've heard from him (aside from the Wynton stuff I've heard) was incredibly interesting! Even bought the Paul Lytton double album mentioned earlier because of how phenomenal Wooley plays on it. Did you check out the tune Jim posted on the first page?
  19. If you simply add 2CD to the end of that search it pulls it right up. But you're right, that is kind of odd.
  20. I actually developed an uncanny knack for removing the shrink wrap. Though, it's been so long since I've bought a jewel case CD, I'm not sure I would remember how I did it. No, wait! I remembered as I was typing that. I would run my thumbnail back and forth across the spine of the cd where the lid connected. It would create a slice from top to bottom, and then it was easier to peel than a perfectly boiled egg. Sometimes I had to run my nail back and forth a few times depending on the quality of the plastic. But it worked beautifully.
  21. I was referring to what Moms has been posting.
  22. Good god no! Not that I can really remember what I was listening to at 11 other than KISS and The Beatles. But I can guarantee it wasn't pretty...
  23. "Fruitful debate" isn't something Moms has any interest in. I blocked the dude. Life is too short to muck about in his/her egotistical bullshit. I'd like to read the liner notes, though. I wondered earlier if perhaps Wynton's music was some kind of gateway for Wooley to get into Jazz. Or if Wynton was a musical hero to him to a certain extent because he got him interested in Jazz. That kind of thing. And if that is indeed the case, then it makes perfect sense that he would want to revisit the music that essentially led him to where he is today.
  24. HA! Highway '61 and Blonde On Blonde are the only two Dylan albums that I own! That's weird, but yeah, I'm right there with you.
