  1. B-but... I'm a wooly-minded liberal! Actually, I wanted warrior. Guess I'm too soft...
  2. Since we seem to be in game playing mode, give this one a try. I took it this morning via Facebook, and actually scored a perfect 15/15. Which is an outrage, considering my grammar is quite bad. http://en.what-character-are-you.com/d/en/927/index/4875.html I will admit that I had to guess at one of them, so my score should have really been 14/15.
  3. Yet another entertainer Add one more.
  4. It's an interesting point. Babies instinctually laugh when they see or hear something funny, so it would seem that it isn't a learned response. And if someone doesn't find something humorous, they can't be taught to find it humorous.
  5. So it's instinctual, for the most part? I can dig that.
  6. Exactly. Why try to quantify taste?
  7. There's a man of upstanding moral character, IMO. Turning down money because he had previous plans with his family. I applaud that.
  8. She's kinda cute, and not cute at the same time. Odd. You nailed it! Fucking bizarre, isn't it?! I will say she has the cutest little smile. Too bad she seems to rarely flash it. I suppose if she went back to her natural hair color, and laid off of that hideous lipstick, she could possibly shed the not cute part. Maybe... Though, based on her delivery in those vids Jim posted, she seems boring as all hell. Seems to me he started out there. While I STILL don't get Interstellar Space (even being one of the biggest Coltrane fans on the planet), I certainly get Andy Kaufman's humor. And the thought of the report of his death potentially being greatly exaggerated is far more intriguing to me than that of Elvis.
  9. Wow, that's far lighter than it looks! Enjoy.
  10. Sounds great, Stefan. It looks really nice, too. Looks like it has some heft to it.
  11. She's kinda cute, and not cute at the same time. Odd.
  12. That was one of the finest runs of all time. I thought it was even better than his famous playoff run. That move he made right after he broke through the defensive line was a gem.
  13. You think you feel odd...winner of next week's Falcons/Panthers game is in the playoffs! Exactly the kind of bullshit I knew would happen when re-alignment reared its' ugly head. Today was a really bad day for football in the Dolan household. Three incredibly crappy and forgettable games. Though, my son and I both find it really odd that there has been no snow game yet this season. It's rare to get this late into the season without at least one.
  14. Indy politely helped them win the East. That's one of the great all time no shows in NFL history.
  15. Address please! I'll bring dessert.
  16. My wife and I usually spent Christmas at her father's house when we still lived in Florida, and being Italian he always made meatballs (the size of baseballs), Italian sausage, ravioli, and garlic bread. His daughter has now made that her "traditional" Christmas dinner as well.
  17. http://www.big-o-records.com/zen-cart/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=31 This does sound really good, Jim! Mrs. Claus won't let me buy anything until after Christmas, but I'm definitely going to grab a copy.
  18. Like anyone pays attention to their ads to begin with.
  19. And that's why I bail on bullshit sites like that. Back to the original subject, Netflix is great for tv series. Not so great for movies. I try to watch some on the weekend, and I always have a ton of stuff in my queue. I find that it's worth the nine or ten bucks we pay a month. Their streaming quality is occasionally an issue, but certainly not a deal breaker.
  20. What is with the goddamn slide shows that sites over use these days?! How fucking annoying. Just print the goddmn list!
  21. Not even Tim Tebow-ish. I would take Tebow and his shotput throwing motion over the Manziel two feet planted open stance/jump throw/across the body antics I saw last weekend any day of the week. Throwing those kind of frisbees may work in college, but that shit will never fly in the big boy league.
  22. Ah, it was Shawn. But yeah, home studio technology is just off the charts these days. It's not sub par mixers with cheap MIDI plug-ins anymore. When I get off work today I'll definitely check out THEO, Jim! Thanks for the heads up. Oddly enough, I was just listening to Amused To Death about three weeks ago. Two things struck me: how well it's held up over time, and how much more I seem to like it each and every time I listen to it. And I started out loving it to begin with. I'd like to say that The Endless River is just as good, but I honestly can't. And The Endless River is an excellent, excellent album.
  23. Oh, I'm 100% self taught. Just wouldn't mind moving to the next level more quickly.
  24. Sorry about that, brother. For some reason I thought it was you.
