If I picked my Eagles to win- it would have been 2 games!! I was stunned by the Eagles' win- I thought AZ would roll all over them. What's cool is that everyone has won a week at least once- nice parity!

That's a terrible coach......I assistant coach my 8 year old daughter's softball team last year and I like having all the kids play different positions during the year and see what they're comfortable with and what they like. Parents appreciated that- because I was being fair to their kids by giving everyone a chance. Natural selection will determine what kids played the "key" positions- like 1st base. I also believe that the parents of girls softball are nicer and more behaved than with boys baseball. Scary to think how one coach can scar a kid for life and drive him or her away from a game they love.

Baseball was my sport- pitcher and shortstop from Little League through Jr. College. Then played softball for awhile. Played 30+ adult baseball- pitcher and shortstop in Richmond, VA- that was a lot of fun- last year was 1999. I stopped because it wasn't fun anymore. My son is 27 so I'll be making a baseball comeback when he's eligible to play in the adult baseball league in 2010- it's now a 28+ league. I enjoy team sports- everyone has a role and you must do your job for the team to be successful on the field. I like the team concept.

My internet was down on Thurs so I couldn't pick. I made my picks a few minutes ago. It let me pick the CLE-DEN game without penalty- probably because I'm the admin. To be fair- I intentionally picked CLE so I would get a loss because I was late picking. I would've picked DEN if it was Thurs.....then I looked at everyone's picks- I can't believe all of you picked CLE!! Just so you know- you can still pick the remaining games if you miss a Thurs- or a Sat.- just do the rest by 12 Noon EST on Sunday. Mike

Is there a definitive camera angle of the base running on this play? I haven't seen one yet that shows Bartlett rounding third -- whether he hesitated or was going all the way; what the third base coach was doing. That might put Utley's play in a little better perspective. If they didn't have a camera on third base, Fox screwed up royally. I've yet to see that shot. Thank goodness they captured the reactions of every single individual in the stadium at the final out though ... On the replay I saw- Bartlett never turned his head so I'm guessing the 3rd base coach was waving him on- I DVR'd it so I'll watch again. Carlos Ruiz made a great play catching the one-hopper from Utley and tagging Bartlett in the face.

Or an Ortlieb's Where at in South Jersey? I went to High School in Blackwood - walking distance to the Lindenwold stop of the High Speed Line through Camden to 8th and Market. Forgot about Ortlieb's!! Margate City... I thought I was a long way from where I grew up- how many times you get back to see family?

YES!! My Phillies won!! I watched it at home- wish I had a Schmidt's beer......it would have been cool to be watching the game at a bar in South Jersey (where I'm from). I had season tickets (partial) from 88-92 then I moved down here- I did get to attend Game 5 of the WS in 1993. Tickets were $65.00 back then. I tried getting WS tickets this year- no luck. Utley's play was great!! Being a former infielder- I've done that play many times but never had anyone go home- I think Utley was surprised that Bartlett ran. If it was earlier in the game- I don't think he goes home- being a 3 inning game made things different. I recorded the Phillies feed on my XM radio- so I'll listen to the game and postgame this evening and feel closer to Philly. Gotta load up on Phillies WS gear!! Gues what I'd like for Christmas?

Look under the standings- you'll see Noj has 7+...the "+" means he received 1 below the lowest correct. Under the weekly picks, you'll see a 0 since he didn't make any picks. All is good!!

This is the first week I didn't read advice on the games before I picked them- I picked the games then read my Sports Weekly and SI, etc. Last week I changed 4 games I initially had right- and I lost because of my changes.
