I like watching them and will watch them whenever I can- I find it fascinating seeing athletes from all over the world- from nations I hardly know.

I'm ordering mine by this weekend. I enjoyed the 1st 2- the 2nd one I like better than the 1st. I'm still working my way through the winterland box.

Saw Phil and Friends a few nights ago- it was pretty good and he played about 3 hours total. Good musicians with him- especially some guy names Jackie Greene. I admit I got bored a little during parts of it. I think I had more fun people watching- I had on a polo-type shirt, jeans and sneakers and I was overdressed. Long time since I smelled reefer. Anyway- Phil is doing well and he was smiling through the whole show- good to see!

Scam- if you didn't use your real address or cell number- tell him you cashed it and spent everything and he's a sucker for mailing it etc. If you did- give it to the FBI or local police or something. For Craig's list- I use a specific email which can be easily deleted and never use any personal numbers. I don't trust anyone. Sad to say- it takes one butthole to screw things up for you.

I grew up in South Jersey- actually my hometown turns into Philly during the summer months- and we're Philly sports fans.

That sucks about the Mill Hill- Trenton is a State Government town and most people boogie out of there after hours. I last worked in Trenton in 1993 and it sounds like it hasn't changed much. If you come back East- try to make it to DC....I would say Richmond but I'm not sure what places host jazz anymore- I don't get out to see shows since I have a family. Our local NPR station 88.9 WCVE spins jazz for a few hours in the evening- DJ is Peter Solomon and he's a great guy- he knows what's happening in Richmond. I listen to it most nights. Glad you made it back safe. Would like to buy your album- I mean CD.

The Winterland set is getting some big bucks on Ebay....$150.00, $125.00.......don't people do their homework?? I asked a seller about the set (beginning bid 149.99) on whether it's OOP and a limited edition- he gave me a nebulous answer about the last set going OOP and they're collector's items.....I think he knew.

I ordered mine through the Dead website after people started posting that their set has shipped. I ordered last Tues and Thurs I received an email saying the set was shipped. Haven't received it yet.

Now that I have DSL- I have to discover Archive.org and other sites to get some shows. MP3s will work for me.

I enjoyed his movies and sorry he died. He married his wife in 1944 and they were still together- which is a cool thing to see- and a rarity in the entertainment business.
