  1. Not Some but Plenty of Love for Jimmy Garrison! One of the sweetest musician ever. Met him when he was playing with Archie Shepp in the late 60s! Also heard him with Coltrane... Believe me his sound was not lost in the overall result!
  2. Many thanks to all! I enjoyed a very nice day! Delighted with a book I had been looking for for some time: Larry Fink 'Somewhere There's Music', a superbly printed photo book that covers part of the post 60s music scene and includes beautiful images of people like Jimmy Rushing, John Coltrane, the Aylers, Marion Brown, Roswell Rudd, Kenny Dorham, Leroy Jenkins, Gil Coggins... A sample of his images Larry Fink
  3. 'As Serious As Your Life' is a must-read for anyone interested in the developments of jazz music! Another excellent book is Jason Weiss 'Always in Trouble'

  13. I have had the box since it was released. Highly recommended. Very well assembled collection with full of interesting items. My only complaint with the box is that the accompanying book is in danish except for a few pages!
