    Not sure where you got this information, but the obituary you linked to says he appeared on hundreds of recordings in a career that spanned 70 years. Are these commercially released recordings? The Lord online discography list only five sessions for him.

    AP dispatch via The Washington Post There are few appearances on records by Al Vega. These include his participation in the Serge Chaloff Uptown CD plus two sessions for NewJazz/Prestige which were not properly reissued.

    Paris Jazz Corner is distributing this limited edition (750 copies) vinyl reissue of Lester Young's last album recorded in Paris by Barclay Records and released in the States on Verve. Le Dernier Message I have not heard this yet but it looks like a quality job!

    'Dale's Wail' made me a convert in the Church of Little Jazz half a century ago! My copy is pretty beat up by now. Fortunately the album is in the Mosaic box and is a pleasure to listen to!
