Sunday night during Jazz From Blue Lake we're featuring a major work by pianist/composer Steve Talaga: "Contemplating the Heavens." Performed by a nonet of jazz quintet -- with Rob Smith, Tom Lockwood and Keith Hall -- plus a string quartet, this full length composition was inspired by the poetry of Linda Nemec Foster.
