  1. A marvellous, unassuming, happy album. An all time favourite.
  2. Nice find Adrian. There's some good music tucked away in there. I have a US copy.
  3. You might get a good deal direct from Spotlite Records, they usually have some offers on the go. http://www.123webpages.co.uk/user/index.php?user=spotlite&pn=1. I've always found Tony Williams great to deal with.
  4. I saw Headhunters around the same time, perhaps the same tour but I'm a bit hazy about the date. One memory stands out. Hancock suddenly appearing in true rock star fashion from behind the bank of keyboards with bang and a large amount of stage smoke. Was it the same for you Mike?
  5. Had mine for five days now. Mobley is a revelation and Green is on top form.
  6. Thanks Dave, thanks to you guys I'm okay now.
  7. Can't see it in the UK yet. Hopefully one day soon.
  8. Certainly Bennie rules in my book. The UK distributor doesn't have it so somehow I missed it at Amazon. Thanks for your help.
  9. I'm missing this session originally recorded for Decca from my collection. They were reissued on an Ocium cd - Go Blow Your Horn but it seems hard to find now. Any help appreciated.
  10. Bennie Green this week.
  11. Bainbridge issue of Time lp.
  12. Disc 3. Kansas City Revisited and Stretching Out.
  13. The Giuffre set did sound strange. All we had been exposed to was the Train and the River.
  14. Bring back Captain Berthaud!!!!
  15. Thanks for the link Brownie. I saw this band in London. Apart from Morgan and Blakey the rest of the band were unknown to me at the time.
  16. Happy Birthday my friend. Have a great day and many more to come.
  17. Amazon UK now say 25 April.
  18. About five days from CD Japan to the UK using the airmail option. Added about £6.00 to the price.
