  11. Maybe I'll use this one . . . . . . bumbles bounce!
  12. Here's mine - a little bigger so you can see it
  13. Count me in - I like the idea of burning a compilation cd - that'd be fun!
  14. Hey - anyone who has the Chambers set - is your insert for disc 3 blurry? (ok...I'm picky...but I'm sure not the only one )
  15. Dear Santa (or mom, dad, mother-in-law, father-in-law, wife and children)- I have been a relatively good boy this year. Please bring me the Horace Parlan, Donald Byrd/Pepper Adams, and/or Lou Donaldson Mosaic Sets. And if you are looking for something to fill the stocking, the John Patton, Grachan Moncur, and/or Bennie Green Mosaic Select sets seem like they'd be a good fit. Don't forget to help yourself to some milk and cookies on the way out (and if you look in the cabinet above the stove, you just may find something to keep you warm from my Uncle Jack if you know what I mean) Love Always, Jeff ps - if you have a few too many of the recent crop of JRVG's, I'd be glad to take them off your hands
  16. JJ Inc is a great disc. Have'nt listened in a few months, but I remember some sweet stuff. And freddie's on it:)
  17. I don't know about Nov 17, 1970 - but Nov 17, 1958 is when the first session on the Benny Golson and the Philadelphians cd reissue was recorded, which is cool because Lee Morgan is on that date B)
  18. um . . . . uh . . . . got it. "Dio, time to go . . . . ." B)
  19. Lately I've been on a kick of listening to music that has some 'intellectual' value to it - Sam Rivers, Wayne Shorter, well, most Blue Note, but very little of the mainstream rock that I can be fond of. Then along comes the new CD by Bob Guiney - tv's latest Bachelor - and out of somewhat morbid curiosity (the same kind that makes you look at a car accident when you drive by), I sought out audio samples of the disc. Then, I found them, though not exactly brain food, sweet candy to the ears - well produced, catchy alt-rock-pop songs. Bob Guiney Homepage My questions to you - 1. Am I bad? 2. How should I balance out my 'like' of this material. 3. Should I repent? 4. Does anyone else wanna admit they watched a couple of episodes of the Bachelor? (I picked Estella from the beginning) 5. If I actually purchase this disc - how many OOP Conn's will it take until I am redeemed? Any thoughts . . . .
  20. Hope y'all had a good day.
  21. Thanks, guys - it was a good day!
  22. Y'know what would be killer? "A Spoonful of Sugar" from Mary Poppins done in a way similar to "Surrey With The Fringe On Top" on Blue Lou - I messed around with it once - fast swinging greasy organ trio bop - cool! :rsmile:
