  3. Scriabin is also one of my favorite composers.
  4. Not the best news to start the day with. RIP Mr Young.
  5. From CD Universe Website: I didnt know that Regina is his cousin but anyway, I'm looking forward to listen to it.
  6. I have all these sets from Fantasy days and each one of them is a treasure.
  7. Have a speedy recovery!
  8. I dont know these specific sets but in general I have good experience with Brilliant Classic. Maybe the performances they include in their sets are not considered to be the best available but they are certainly good performances and with an excellent sound quality. Regarding Franz Liszt set: I have a set with all his Transcendental Etudes played by Georges Cziffra. If these recordings are included, I can definitely recommend (Cziffra's name is mentioned there).
  9. Have you heard Gould's versions of Goldberg's? Perrahia's recordings was my first exposure to Goldberg's, and I liked them, but once I heard Gould '55 (and subsequently, any other "major" version of Goldberg's), I grew to regard Perrahia as a pretty but shallow salon version, Goldber's-lite, if you will (IMHO, of course). I tend to agree with you, Д.Д.
