Mono. "After the Rain" would have been a great main theme for a french noir with Lino Ventura: Apres la pluie.

I am not acquainted with Garner, so I can't compare these records with other Garner's ones. I like the fews I listened to. Sound is good, both cds and vinyls. The 45 original records has a forgotten sound of old radio singles. The set is probably overdressed, I really don't need the cassette. Overall I am satisfied.

Since I haven't got any Garner in my collection, I gave myself a gift with this lavish mammoth:

I don't like multiples, but it happened. Usually I have duplicates when the original pressing is really noisy or the cd reissue has some alts or outtakes I really like. And of course with Mosaic box sets: I have some originals that are on Mosaic too or when the Mosaic is a cd only set.

Always had pets around me since I was a baby human, mostly cats when I moved in Rome. So I understand your feelings.
