  2. S.Turrentine Rough and Tumble, NY stereo
  3. Masqualero 'Aero', ECM Every time I put the stylus on a ECM vinyl I am surprised how dead silent they are, outstanding german technology. I think they are better then JVC.
  4. BTW on 'Bert And John' there is a a great 'Goodbye Porky Pie Hat'. Those were times, when folk and rock musicians were looking at 360°, jazz, blues, classical, avantgarde,ecc.. Today's rockers look only at Beatles or Zeppelin.
  5. So you should appreciate 'Bert and John', I 'll give a spin to my Transatlantic original copy later, after the Solti's Fourth of Brahms's symphonies
  6. Beethoven Symphony 1/2 Karajan, BPO, mono DG vinyl. Just discovered the 'What classical...' thread, so I post it there too.

  8. Haydn, Late Symphonies, Dorati, Decca
  9. Sad, really sad. I bought all his records I could find since I discover him 15 years ago
  10. Mahler Symphony N. 8, Solti Decca

  14. I could have write the very same post, (maybe with some grammar errors in it).
  15. My copy looks like the same of Brownie's. On the back of the gatefold cover there is "This album can be purchased by mail only...'
  16. I fully agree with Claude: the Pro-Ject Debut IS the new TT and, at least in Europe, a good old Thorens IS the used TT. I had a long and happy relationship with a TD 166 with a Sumiko Blue Point before my today's Linn.
  17. I agree with Claude: at least in Europe a good old Thorens IS the way to go. I had a long and happy relationship with a TD 166 with a Sumiko Blue Point before my today's Linn.
  18. ...or Hell, it depends on how much addicted you will be and on how many pops and clicks on your latest ebay bargain
  19. I've got the original with its cover Maybe the original stamps or the address handwritten by Mingus will raise the price
  20. Welcome to the Delta House Fraternity Did you place your TT on some dedicated stand?
  21. Dvorak Symphonies, London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Rowicki, Philips
  22. I think they should cancel it because of the howful match they played with Italy, and I am not a believer of greatness of today's italian team. Even more if you consider that our best player, Totti, is out for a serious accident.
  23. The Elligton Era 1927/1940 Volume 1, Columbia Box set
  24. Donald Byrd At Half Note Cafe 1 43 West, mono
  25. I always used poly inner sleeves similar to the early Mosaic or Mobile Fidelity Original Master Sleeve. I bought them from Acoustic Sound, just placed some pack in the vinyl orders. Now they discontinued it. Have you got a good source for buying them on the web, or similar sleeves?
