  1. We don't have this problem in Italy. Sometimes we could find sticky mozzarella cheese between case and cd, but no tape...
  2. I though it was a Bowie's song
  3. GRRR!!! I am still waiting its italian realese... F...Universal Group
  4. Wow! Brownie have you got any autographed cover?
  5. The answer is no! It's been released before on various bootlegs including the 3LP box 'John Coltrane Quartet Live at the Half Note' which was issued in 1984 by Audiofidelity. With some more material. Let's wait to find out how much better the sound might be! ← Agreed. Any volunteer?
  6. 1) All of the stuff being released has never been issued officially, though it has widely circulated in bootleg form. 2) This release only includes about 1/2 of the circulating Half Note material. Guy ← So the major risk could be that one day of 2007 I will have to buy a 'complete half note'. I can do it.
  7. I don't want to discuss if it's better then this or better then that. Just one question: Is it all unrealesed Trane's music? If your answear will be: Yes, I will get it, no matter who will get my money! BTW http://www.vervemusicgroup.com/product.asp...c=exp&pid=11367
  8. I have both on cd, probably I'll put them on sale on the forum. I spotted also a Blue Mitchell that sold for 160 $, a good price. Sadly I have just bought some of the original BN, so I will keep the Mosaic cds, and will try to complete the original Lps collection.
  9. About the Basie Mosaic: it goes for more than double of my bid http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 but I got Thad Jones and Chico Hamilton
  10. NONE, my TT is at the shop for an overhaul, nothing serious, just to a check up after two years of hard working
  11. Simon Wiesenthal reminds me some of the victims of mafia, judges, officers, policemen. One of them, Paolo Borsellino, said: 'I am not a hero, I am a common man, it's mafia that is uncommon.' We could apply the same sentence to SW 'holocaust was uncommon'. I think that our times need more 'common men' like them and less 'heroes'.

  13. So now on the TT, Mosaic's In A Silent Way, disc 2. I wish a Mosaic Jack Johnson on vinyl
  14. There's at least 2 of us. I even like the later stuff ( ). I'll put on the Japanese Sony 'Agharta' 2LP later tonight for relaxing pre-bedtime listening with my hot chocolate ( ). Sonny Fortune absolutely smokes on side 1. ← Agreed. And I am so bizarre that I even love the hum and the buzz of that Marshall tube amplifiers
  15. Maybe it depends on my musical first love: Frank Zappa. For me is really hard to listen to early jazz, I own several records of Armstrong, Basie, Duke, ecc.., but every time I have to put on an LP I always go for modern stuff.
  16. Davis' Agharta, white label Columbia promotional copy. Am I the only one here who love electric Miles?
  17. Thanks! I can see $$$ migrate from my bank account...
  18. I have the 'Complete Atomic Basie' on cd, what about the Mosaic Studio Roulette? Are these session included in the Mosaic, from the same mono tapes? Is the Mosaic LP set digitally remastered?
  19. Do you know that a battle is fighting at WTO about 'Parmesan', as well about 'mozzarella' or wine's name? Who has the right to call himself 'parmesan'? Producers all over the world call their cheese 'parmesan'. In Italy the best parmesan has a proper and exclusive brand 'Parmigiano Reggiano' with several quality controls. The best parmigiano is 24/36 months aged and it sell at 30 euros for Kilo.
  20. At this very moment we have the world's biggest cheese festival in Bra, near Torino (fifth edition). This year the main theme is goat's cheese, with cheese from Armenia to Argentina. I have to admit that the quality of italian cheese is the main cause of my cholesterol. Brownie, with all respect, in Italy we have more cheese than in France.
