  1. Maybe it's out topic, or continent, but when I visited Canada I have been in dozens of places called 'Beaver Creek', 'Beaver Cove', ecc, never saw a beaver!
  2. Correct, I would add that consequent sismic waves weren't good for records cuttings.
  3. Maybe you have to check the stamper on your sense of humour...
  4. Lor is wrong. I got some classified files from Area 52 Archive, don't ask me how I got them, that show that the best sounding BN are the records pressed within ten days from a Nuclear Experiment, no matters the address label. It seems that the consequent fall out during pressing process altered the sound in a positive way. Obviously the records pressed between the first and the third day after the explosion are more sought. So the only thing you really need is a Geyger Counter.
  5. A part some classic disney stuff, Carl Barks, ecc, it's the only comic stuff I could read after my 30's. Maybe it depends on the fact I always loved more adventure's novels then comics in my childhood. For me Corto Maltese has the same taste of Treasure's Island.
  6. A suggestion: it worths to look for some "CORTO MALTESE" books, I am pretty sure they were translated in english.
  7. Buon compleanno!
  8. Are you talking about used original pressings or new reissues? I buy most of the used records in US, on line. They are cheaper than italian shops, (and UK shop too: try to buy some original pressing of early classic rock ) and when the € were flying like a sputnik over $ . Sadly the current currecy market is playing against my collection.
  9. And it's a NY pressing! ← This is a strange one. Even the Liberty is very sought after. The prices for the 47W63rd are off the scale. ← Even stranger if you consider that it's one of the few BN titles always in print.
  10. And it's a NY pressing!
  11. What about this? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...Y_BID_Stores_IT

  16. So, nobody knows where is he? I pm to him, nothing. Even on Steve Hoffman forum he is missing.
  17. The next time I'll meet a piano I'll try it.
  18. That's what I mean when I said that for me it's not a job! I ignore what an interval of the minor 9th is. Seriously, I have no doubt there are interesting stuff in every music, a part Kenny G
  19. Maybe I lack the Big Country's origin, but I never really got into country music, I could like old stuff like Charlie Patton and Robert Johnson, and W. Guthrie, I even love Ford's western movies, (as well as A. Mann, Delmer Daves, Howard Haws, etc), but all that banjos and fiddles, no thanks. It's my fault, there are some music i don't like, like brasilian music. At the same time I don't have enough time to listen to all the music I like, it's not a job for me.
  20. According to Doctor Lowe's name of country music, I can say I am not definitely into it. But if you consider 'Drugstore Truck Drivin' Man' a country song, well...
  21. Thad Jones gone.
  22. THE WHO WHO'S NEXT? Track UK first pressing. Guys, they can ROCK!
  23. I don't have to watch football this evening, we got the qualification in the previous turn.
