I have doubts too. I've collected everything recorded by Sonny whether official or private and never ever seen reference to this. Here's to hoping it really does exist.
Sonny Rollins recorded 7 albums in 1957. He didn't realize it to someone told him. Apparently, there exists a recording of Rollins playing with Miles Davis and John Coltrane from 1957. Anyone ever hear about this?
I'm a big fan of all Randy's music. This one is scheduled for release later this year. He's 90 years old and there's no slowing him down. It is a double cd too.
I am at the museum. I'm listening to Art Tatum. I just finished listening to the Coleman Hawkins tracks. This is amazing music. The quality is very good.
