  7. Wow, another loss. R.I.P. Red. Thanks for the music.
  8. Woman manages to get 30 thousand from the Nigerian con artists. Article
  9. Me too, I didn't know shw was still alive. RIP Kay, time to play with Duke again.
  10. Great to see you back. Hope you can stick around Jeff.
  11. 70 is a crazy amount to ask for this.
  12. How long does it take you to do one?
  13. May you listen to Tjader all day. Happy birthday.
  14. Thanks, I am glad you enjoyed the music. None of the music has ever been commercially released. I felt like doing a blind fold test of music that exists that no one would have heard. In fact I could offer the complete sets from each track if someone wants. As for track 8, I feel akin to this one for some reason.
  15. Happy brithday.
  16. Possible. I agree you need to learn as much as you can as a musician but then throw it all out the window doesn't jive with me.
  17. Christian Mcbride said this in the BBC Sonny Rollins special. "To be a great jazz musician you need to learn eveything, and once you learn it, you need to forget it."
  18. I am watching this on line right now. Wow!!!! You will need the software from the BBC to watch the gig. http://download.cnet.com/Expat-Shield/3000-2092_4-75211377.html And the videos are here. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01c30k0/Arena_Sonny_Rollins_74_Rescued!/ http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01c30jy/Arena_Sonny_Rollins_Beyond_the_Notes/
