  1. For years, I've wished that they would get rid of most of their "genius" commentators who don't know any more than you or I or the average person on the street. Looks as if they just cut some less visible folks loose. Too bad they didn't go after the bigger names.
  2. Intelius also lists Chicago as a former residence and lists Occult Book Store as a place where he worked. Seems as if it's he.
  3. Intelius lists a Russell K. Thorne, age 81, in Deerfield, Wisconsin. I didn't search further, but that might be a start.
  4. Duke Ellington: All Star Road Band As far as I can recall, this was the first CD I bought.

  10. I'm not throwing anything. I just disagree.
  11. Sorry to hear that you're stuck with the transfer, etc. that Sony gives you. I'll still be in with whatever you issue - as long as there will be unissued material - I already have the original LP.
  12. I can't say that I have a favorite Bud on BN. Different sessions appeal to me depending on my mood. I've always felt that, on many of his recordings, Bud put his emotions out front for anyone to hear. Sometimes I feel like I'm intruding when I listen. GREAT music!
  13. Bart Homer Marge
  14. Speakers Corner has issued these recordings as a 3 LP set. I don't know whether any mastering problem was corrected on these LPs.
  15. Bent Fabric James Cotton Silk Wilkes
