Listened to this one twice and liked it better the second time around. It sounds to me like it was a producer's idea to include Eric Dolphy on this date, but it worked ok for me once I got used to it. I found myself enjoying hearing Dolphy playing in a hard bop bluesy setting. Richard Williams plays some good things, though I could have done without his screaming backgrounds on "Alto-It is". That sounded like something left over from a JATP session and should have been left back there. George Duvivier is outstanding. He could play any type of music and sound good doing so.
